About Me

I'm a Londoner, born and bred, and have lived here all my life.  I think it is one of the greatest cities in the world.

 

In a previous life I was a Stage Manager and still try to get to as many shows as I can.  For 15 years I was also a Tour Manager leading tours of the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Canada, New Zealand, The Middle and Far East, so I am very experienced with both large and small groups

Like many during these difficult Covid times, London Blue Badge Tourist Guides have seen their businesses decimated. Rather than sitting at home polishing up our shiny badges, waiting for visitors who were never going to arrive, we decided to bring London and the UK to the world by way of online Virtual Tours.

I have attended 2 of a 3 zoom set of tours of the East End via my local Art Society, and they have been superb. Excellent information and use of technology such as google street view, video and slides. Fascinating history you don't learn from simply walking around. I thought I knew that area quite well, but I hadn't even scratched the surface. Looking forward to the final tour. Highly recommended.
